Let’s Heat Things Up!
Reheating Instructions for
Ditty & Dough Artisan Loaves:
Preheat the Oven:
Set your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare the Loaf:
If the crust is very hard, lightly spritz or brush the surface of the loaf with water. This helps soften the crust and rehydrate the bread.
Wrap (Optional):
For a softer crust, wrap the loaf loosely in aluminum foil.
For a crispy crust, place it directly on the oven rack or a baking sheet.
Reheat:
Place the loaf in the preheated oven and heat for 10-15 minutes for a full loaf or 5-8 minutes for slices or smaller pieces. Adjust the time depending on the loaf size.
Check Warmth:
Remove the loaf and check if it's warmed through. It should feel soft and slightly springy on the inside.
Serve:
Let the bread cool for a minute before slicing to maintain its structure.
Alternative (Quick) Reheating Method:
For a quicker option, wrap a slice or two in a damp paper towel and microwave for 10-20 seconds. This method is best for immediate consumption but might result in a softer crust.
